Later fall dates: The Kansas City Home, Design & Remodeling Expo is moving two weeks later to November 2-4. Why? The early November dates provide less competition for consumer's valuable time. The chance of beautiful weather declines, the pumpkin patches are closed and desirable activities are typically indoors.
Adjusted Hours: With the later dates come shorter exhibit hours. We've listened to our exhibitors and adjusted the show hours to start later and end earlier - bringing more consumers through during the peak hours of the day.
New Exhibit Halls: The Expo is moving to the north end of Bartle Hall making it more convenient to enter the event from the closest parking lots. Less walking and great exposure!
Additional Advertising: The $110,000 in advertising spent in 2011 is increasing for 2012. With the addition of more exhibitors and by offering incentives to sign up for the show early, we are able to increase billboard and TV advertising in 2012.
